Anne Pflug is an artist and musician. In her work
she is focused on rituals and their impact on bodies,
sites and the realities of closeness, distance
and tenderness that emerge.
Combining situational production and ephemeral
materials as silk, essential oils or foam, performances
and installations are set up. Drawing and songwriting
techniques are used in serial and diary-like ways.
Anne Pflug is a HFBK Hamburg graduate as well as Merz Akademie Stuttgart graduate and has been part of collaborations with Kunstverein Ulm, ENSBA Paris, Kunstverein Harburg Bahnhof and fellow of Künstlerhaus Stuttgart Ateliers together with Lowland artist group.
