„Tenderness“ ist an exhibition featuring three pieces of the artist.

A choir is standing in a circle, gently humming in the center of an installation made of transparent silk. After the performance, visitors can sit back in a huge cushion and listen to a caressing voice coming out of the audio shower.

"Tenderness" is a work about the volatileness of tender closeness in contemporary culture.

Handprinted text fragments that could be taken out of a love letter or a messenger conversation

are floating through the exhibition space on silken pieces and react with a shiver to each and every movement of the visitors.

The air in the exhibition space is playing an important role – it functions as a carrier – for the voices, for the silk, for the absence and presence.

"Tenderness" was the Master of Fine Arts degree show of Anne Pflug at Hochschule für Bildende Künste Hamburg accomplished in summer 2019.
